As you may know already, I’m gender non-binary or genderqueer, and my pronouns are they/them. Sometimes it’s hard to find representation, so here’s my attempt at providing a list of books with non-binary, agender, genderfluid, or genderqueer characters. I have tried to only list books where the main character or a fairly important character is non-binary, and not books that only mention a non-binary character or have a very minor non-binary character. When the book is a part of series, I have included only the first book.
Just a disclaimer, I haven’t read every one of these books, so I have done my best to do my research regarding the content of them, but I cannot personally vouch for all of them.
Also, just a reminder to respect everyone’s pronouns. It is super important in our community to use the correct pronouns for everybody.
